Last May Silk Mobility Group launched an architectural competition for the construction of the new Production and Innovation Center in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
The contest aimed to identify the best design ideas with high environmental and landscape quality, while interpreting the design formula curated by Walter De Silva for Silk Mobility, expressing the spirit of the Motor Valley.
The final selection came down to the best representation between futuristic vision and the sensitivity of classic elegance embracing the full luxury essence of the ‘S’ series cars that will be produced in the future Production and Innovation Center.
Today, it has been announced that GEZA Studio wins the architectural contest. The Commission, composed by Jonathan Krane, Katia Bassi, Walter De Silva, Francesco De Santis, Amedeo Felisa, Carlo Quintelli and Claudia Conforti, evaluated the project as the one that best corresponds to the expectations in terms of clarity and iconic elaboration.
